Loose fender flares, rubbing paint

I have had an issue with the dually fenders on my truck, first the rears. Took it to the dealer, all the body shop did was raise and tighten them, basically hiding the scratched paint from the rubbing. Now I notice the front fender flares(big on the F-450 pickup) are doing the same. So since my 36 month warranty will expire in two months I will soon schedule to take the truck back to the dealer. I want the paint fixed and the fenders secured correctly. It really shows up on the Dark Stone Metallic paint since the underlying finish is white. Bit frustrating but I will ensure they do the repairs correctly and just not hide the damage. If you have dually fenders keep an eye out for them to become loose, temperature fluctuations seem to cause the plastic to expand/contract quite a bit adding to the abrasion. Anybody else deal with this problem?

Remove them and put two sided automotive adhesive tape between flare and fender, The rubbing stopped, now they're stuck together. Just make sure you hide tape well enough to not notice it but not well enough that you limit the sticky surface area of the tape. I had some Xenon fenders flares that used this technique that's where I got the idea. May or may not work who knows.

I agree. I have the biggest flares that Xenon makes on my 2000 F550 and the 2 sided 3m tapes works awesome. I had to reapply the tape once, but was this time I had a body shop heat lamp in the back ground making sure all was on the warm side.
