I currently have 16" Bridgestone Dueler AT Revo 2 on my truck and will soon be moving to 18" wheels. I've looked at the reviews/surveys on tirerack and see there is some difference in the cornering stability and steering response between these tires. But nothing that specifically addresses towing. I tow a with my truck more than not so I have to ask those of you who have these tires; What do you like or what don't you like about the Michelin LTX A/T 2, Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac or General Grabber AT 2 tires when towing?

These are the 3 that I've narrowed my search down to as they seem to have the better wet and snow ratings. Most of my driving is on-road but I want a tire that can bite when I happen to get off-road too.

I'm in the same boat...looking to go to a bigger rim.
I am curious about the general's also, save some dough.

Have you looked at the BFG ATs? I love mine, "E" load rated and tow great with excellent traction in most all conditions. Even nice going down the highway with little to no noise except when barreling through a tight bend.

Love mine too, except when it's time to replace...$300+ each last time.

One tire I just realized I left out was the BFG Rugged Terrain T/A. That seems to have good marks, too. At least better marks than the BFG T/A KO.

We use a lot of the michelins at work. While they grip well, the rubber compound is EXTREMELY soft and very prone to losing chunks/whole tread blocks. They also tend to grab onto 1/4-1/2 inch pebbles and fling them at the most inconvenient times.
