No response from ignition after repairs

Hey everyone, new to the forum, had the truck for about a year or so. I replaced my power steering pump and after putting everything back together I'm not getting any response whatsoever from my ignition. It was working perfectly before I took everything apart as I was running the motor to flush the PS fluid before I started the repair. Now when I connect the batteries the only thing that seems to work is the 12v outlet in the cab of the truck (I have a voltage meter plugged into that and it shows 12+ volts). Nothing else works on the truck as far as I can tell...no lights, not even under hood light which usually pops on as soon as I connect my battery terminals.

I looked over the engine and everything plugged in except for the fan clutch sense (have the fan clutch off for now until I get this fixed...i have run the engine without this plugged in previously so I know this isn't the problem.

I am honestly horrible at troubleshooting electrical problems. Can anyone give me a good starting point to look at that might be the problem? I feel like I have to be missing something very obvious but for the life of me I can't think of what I might have disconnected that would have impacted the ignition.

Welcome, what's missing is what truck you have. Without that anyone is just guessing. You can fill out that info in a signature that will appear on all your posts. Click on the "B" icon (that's your avatar like appears on your posts) at the top right of the page and select "My Profile".

But with electrical issues, you just need to start at the batteries and measure voltage as you go down the line, to the fuse box, etc. When the voltage stops, back up to the previous component to find the issue.

Ok, so I started looking at fuses and there is something VERY wrong...can someone give me some tips on next steps? I have power to the first bank of fuses (circled in red) but I'm not getting anything on any of the other fuses (haven't pulled relays but assume the same?). It looks like it's a single, large gauge cable coming directly from the positive terminal of the battery going into this. I'm going to try and pull the fuse box and see if I can find an issue, but seems very odd since I didn't touch this at all during my repair.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!
