Not on this part of the site that much, truck is a 97 F350 7.3l DRW mason dump, hand shaker with about 130k. Bought the truck about a year ago. Ran good but smoked some time and leaks oil. Called Bob at diesel orings, had him ship new GPs, injector orings, fuel bowl rebuild, new blue fuel lines and HPOP orings. My on staff mechanic did all the R&R (20 yr old auto school mechanic grad). He's pretty good. We are learning about the 7.3l together. He took out the fuel bowl and rebuilt it, removed the HPOP and re oringed it, and installed new orings in the oil rail plugs. When we tried to start it it was a bear to get going. I had him remove the HPOP access panel and re-torque the gear. It fired up. He drove it around and said it ran like a dog. I figured we just had to run it to get the air out. Now it wont start at all. I'm going to go home and get my AE, but what should I check first and what should I monitor while cranking?

One more thing, while cranking it acts like it wants to turn over and smokes white a little.
