This is probably a silly question, but what does the B20 stand for on the door emblem on the powerstroke....??

Good thing too....most stations in the heartland are anywhere between 5-20% depending on the the area...

What would happen if running 100% biodiesel? Any good reason why the new '11s couldn't do so?

I think the only concern with running B100 is that the oil could possibly get diluted while doing a regeneration since the extra fuel is injected during the exhaust stroke and biodiesel has a higher flash point so it would have to be very hot in order to burn. The new 2011 Duramax now has an extra injector in the exhaust to eliminate oil dilution. Other than the oil issue, the biodiesel should run perfect in the new 6.7L Powerstroke.

B100

First for the record the Biodiesel has a higher Cetane rating then normal diesel so it actually performs better in the regen cycle then perto diesel.

You could run B100 with two potential issues. First is if you have enough tanks of fuel through the truck the Biodiesel will break all the sludge loose and plug up your filter. If a truck runs B50 or higher day in and day out the inside of the fuel system can actually look polished.

The second issue you may have is that most (not all) biodiesels have a slightly lower cloud point (gel) then perto diesel. If you know what the biodiesel is made of I could give you additional specifics.

Warrenty

Violation of warranty is very possible although the big 3 have become masters at avoiding paying the warranties it far more likely to get busted for something like off-road fuel or a harsh performance additive. The biggest thing they are watching for on diesels now is the chips and programmers. Next in line would be the emission system and urea injection system. Lots of people consumers and truck drivers have been buster for dumping things other then the exhaust fluid into the injection tanks.
