Fuel Leak Leak From Drain Valve Hose

I have a slow steady drip coming out of the hose from the fuel drain valve while the engine is running. It continues to drip after the engine is turned off, eventually stopping, i'm assuming after enough pressure is relieved. 2002 F250 4x4 Lariat

1. Do I need to replace the entire valve or can it be rebuilt ?
2. Can it be replaced without removing the fuel filter canister ?

The drain valve can be rebuilt as long as there is nothing wrong with the hard parts. You can simply remove it by taking out the 4 torx head screws.
