On my 3rd 7.3…. changing fuel filter housing and question if the new seals on the fuel lines go into the fittings or just crush at the outer edge..i cannot get seals to actually go into fittings and dont want to ruin on first install

The rubber seals need to go over the slight flare on the end of the line and into the fitting. Put a little oil on them to push them on the line. Be sure you have the correct size. There are two different sizes.

Thank you, I got that part done and I think you answered my question. the seals do not have to fit into the connections on fuel bowl.. They will compress and seal the line. The fittings look as if the seal will go into it before you tighten the nut. .I also have the seals in the correct location..

Yeah, you got it. The parker sleeve seals will get pushed into place once you start screwing the fittings into the bowl.

here and here. Or you can find them at a Parker store, if you have one nearby.

The quick connect lines don't use the same ferrule at the QC end, but they will fit at the fuel bowl.
